How the ranking works
Growth compares the start of the range with its end, each averaged over a sixth of the points so one odd day cannot decide it. One and three months use daily search interest, one year weekly, five years monthly.
The label comes from the weekly year. Exploding: the last three months average at least double the year before. Growing: a smaller lasting rise. Spike: only the last two weeks jumped. Peaked: a sharp rise that has already halved. Full methodology.
